Multicultural Pageant in Dublin Combines Beauty, Culture and Drug Education

Beauty, culture and community education came together in Dublin during the first Miss & Mrs Cross Continent pageant. The event welcomed 24 contestants representing seven nations and attracted around 450 guests to the Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin. Broccoli Care Ltd. sponsored the programme, which was organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd. together with The Truth About Drugs Ireland. Drug education formed an important part of the event, with guided exhibition tours introducing visitors to information about commonly used drugs. Many of the contestants studied Truth About Drugs materials in advance, and several completed news eurovision the full series of fourteen online courses. In his address, Mayor Francis Timmons noted that education and positive leadership can help create healthier and more united communities. The afternoon also included Irish, Indian and Indonesian dance performances, reflecting the international character of the gathering. Niveditha Vudayagiri, a software engineer with a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, was crowned Miss Cross Continent 2026. The other leading awards went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina and Yuki Yuliatin.
